This makes it suitable for axes that stop quickly and return kinetic energy to the shared DC bus.

In drive cabinets, the module mates directly with the HCS03 converter, allowing established wiring lengths and thermal profiles. It can also be paired with XCD/XCS/XVE/XVR control units, which engage the resistor through integrated chopper logic. Heat removal relies on converter exhaust air, so airflow already leaving the inverter passes across the fins and carries energy out of the enclosure without extra blowers.
