It is designed to buffer energy on the common DC bus of drive systems, absorbing regeneration peaks and smoothing voltage variations that could otherwise trip inverters or shorten the service life of connected components. By supplying temporary power without moving parts, the unit supports industrial automation applications that need short-term energy storage rather than continuous power conversion.
