It installs beside IndraDrive power sections to convert regenerated kinetic energy into heat, preventing excessive DC-link voltage during rapid stops in automated machinery. This function is useful on axes that decelerate heavy or fast-moving loads, because returned energy can rise quickly during braking. The module must be mounted with 80 mm of bottom clearance and 300 mm of top clearance so that rising air from natural convection can remove thermal losses while maintaining a balancing factor of 0.8 for uniform load sharing.
