The HDS14.2-W200N drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HDS Drive Controllers series. Within an automation cabinet, this module supplies controlled motor output for compatible Rexroth Indramat servo axes so that DIAX04 drive systems can be accelerated, positioned, and decelerated under numerical control. It handles command processing, power conversion, and protective functions, allowing machine builders to integrate high-current electric motors without discrete power stages. This arrangement suits centralized drive cabinets that manage several servo axes from one control platform.

Each axis can draw a continuous current of 120 A at a 4 kHz current loop frequency, while its continuous RMS current at 4 kHz is 84.9 A per axis. For rapid transients, the module tolerates a per-axis surge current of 141.4 A rms, and the hardware is rated for an absolute peak of 200 A. The 4 kHz current loop supports fast current regulation during changing load conditions. Heat produced under these electrical loads is removed by a built-in air blower, so no external ducting is required. At the continuous current threshold, the power stage dissipates 800 W per axis, and the logic section adds a fixed 20 W for signal processing and diagnostics. The product is version 2.
