The Rexroth HDS05.2-W300N-HT20-01-FW belongs to the Indramat HDS drive controller family. As per the practice of Rexroth, the firmware for each drive controller is not shipped with the drive. Rather it is ordered separately so as to comply with features required by the customer. The HDS05.2-W300N-HT20-01-FW is a line 5, version 2 controller which is installed inside a DIAX04 chassis which is capable of housing multiple controllers. Command communication interface on the controller, which provides the control interface, is SERCOS. The HDS05.2-W300N-HT20-01-FW is a convection cooled controller which comes with internal blower. To aid airflow around the controller, Rexroth recommends minimum spacing of 90 millimeters in front of the controller, 80 millimeters above the controller and 100 millimeters below the controller. The minimum mounting clearances may need to be increased depending upon the bend radius of the motor power cable.
