The HDS04.2-W200N-HT27-02-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HDS Drive Controllers series. It mounts inside DIAX multi-axis racks and serves as the regulated power stage between the system power bus and a connected motor. By converting digital motion commands into controlled motor current, the unit supports precise positioning and stable speed regulation in automated machinery. It is used in systems where multiple axes share a rack-based drive platform. This arrangement allows the axis to respond quickly to command changes while maintaining closed-loop control during continuous industrial operation.
This controller exchanges setpoints and feedback through the SERCOS fiber-optic interface and belongs to the DIAX04 family. SERCOS communication allows cyclic command exchange between the motion control and the drive. During storage or transport, it tolerates temperatures from -30 to +85 °C, and these limits apply when the controller is not operating.
