The HDS04.2-W200N-HS92-01-FW is a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HDS Drive Controllers series. As a digital axis module, it conditions incoming power, executes closed-loop motion commands, and processes servo feedback for precise multi-axis operation. In a modular rack, the controller works as the power and control stage between the shared DC bus and the connected servo motor. It exchanges setpoint data with higher-level controls so packaging, printing, and material-handling machines can maintain accurate speed, torque, and position regulation. By regulating motor current in real time, it helps coordinated axes follow commanded motion profiles throughout repetitive machine cycles.
Command exchange uses the SERCOS fiber-optic interface, allowing deterministic real-time transfer of position values, status words, and diagnostic data.
