HDS03.5-W070N-HZ99-01-FW/S200 is modular controller from the HDS product line. It is developed by Bosch for industrial applications. Typical HDS controller applications include textile, printing and packaging machines, handling machines and robotics. HDS controllers are compatible with 2AD, 1MB, MHD and MKD motors from Bosch Rexroth. HDS controllers are intended for connection to a HVE or HVR supply module. These supply modular provide all signal and power voltages required by the controller. Rated current output of the HDS03.5-W070N-HZ99-01-FW/S200 controller is 70 Amps. The built-in blower helps to move air taken in through the inlet at the bottom of the unit. To facilitate smooth airflow, Bosch recommends minimum 80 millimeter spacing on the top side and 100 millimeter spacing on the bottom. Rated operation requires 5 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters site elevation. The design of HDS drive controllers is modular. The basic unit is adapted to a respective function by fitting it with different plugin modules. Bosch supplies fully configured HDS drive controllers. The configuration is determined by the required functions. A fully configured drive controller is comprised of the following components: a basic unit, a command communications module, a software module, additional plug-in modules and a configuration type plate. HDS controllers can accommodate three plug in modules. The firmware is housed in the software module, which can be moved to a replacement unit if required. Drive configuration parameters are also housed in the software module. Available command communication modules include analog and SERCOS. The configuration type plate records the type designations of the following: the drive controller, the basic unit, the software module and the installed optional plug in modules .
