HDS03.5-W070N-HZ98-01-FW/S200 is an HDS series drive controller. It is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, a global leader in industrial automation solutions. The controller comes with a built-in blower for cooling. The blower forces air output of the hot air outlet at the top after cold is taken in via the inlet at the bottom. For optimal operation, the ambient temperature must be maintained between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius. Rated output of the HDS03.5-W070N-HZ98-01-FW/S200 under optimal conditions is 70 Amps. The output derates if the ambient temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celsius. Bosch does not permit HDS controller operation at temperatures above 55 degrees Celsius. The minimum recommend spacing at the top of the controller is 80 millimeters. The minimum recommend spacing at the bottom of the controller is 100 millimeters. The output of the controller also derates if the site elevation is more than 1000 meters. The controller has an IP10 rated housing. As the housing is not safe from dust or moisture ingress, the controller must not be used outdoors unless it is mounted inside a suitable cabinet. Suitable transportation equipment must be used and shock-absorbing supports must be used in case of excessive shocks and vibrations. All electrostatcally endangered components must only be transported in conductive packaging. The permitted temperature range for storage and transport is -30 to 85 degrees Celsius.
