The HDS03.2-W100N-HS37-01-FW is a drive controller released by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HDS Drive Controllers series. It regulates torque, speed, and position for servo axes in modular drive stacks used in machine tools, material-handling cells, and other automated equipment where coordinated motion must remain stable under changing load. By receiving setpoint data through a fiber-optic network and adjusting motor current in real time, the unit closes the control loop between a motion controller and an individual servo motor. In these systems, the controller serves as the power and regulation stage for one axis, translating motion commands into controlled electrical output for the connected motor.

The integrated command channel uses SERCOS optical communication, so cyclic data and parameter words are exchanged at deterministic intervals rather than through unscheduled traffic. During operation, the power section can deliver a continuous output of 100 A, allowing the connected motor to draw substantial RMS phase current during sustained duty.
