The HDS03.2-W100N-HS32-01-NW is a modular drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HDS Drive Controllers series. In multi-axis automation racks, it serves as the programmable axis module within the DIAX04 platform and supplies controlled power to connected servo motors. Its function is to convert motion profiles from a master control system into precise current and velocity commands so synchronized machine movements remain stable during acceleration, constant-speed running, and deceleration.

This controller communicates with higher-level PLCs through the SERCOS fiber-optic interface, which supports deterministic cycle timing and consistent data exchange. A continuous output capability of 100 A allows it to support demanding axes such as large feed drives or main spindles. Thermal management is handled by a built-in air blower that moves cabinet air across the heat sink without external ductwork. The power section uses insulation class C as per DIN VDE 0110, which supports reliable electrical separation inside the unit.
