The HDS03.1-W100N-HS63-01-FW is a modular industrial drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HDS Drive Controllers series. Installed in multi-axis cabinets, it connects to common supply modules in a drive rack and routes controlled DC power to connected servo axes. Within an automation cell, it acts as the real-time link between motion processors and motor windings by translating digital velocity commands into controlled current patterns. Because current is regulated in real time, the controller supports coordinated motion where several axes operate from the same supply section. That operating role helps packaging, handling, and machining stations hold commanded speed and position during changing loads and continuous cycles.

This controller exchanges cyclic data over the SERCOS fiber-optic bus, allowing synchronous setpoint updates and diagnostic reporting across the motion network.
