The HDS03.1-W075N-HS38-01-FW is a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HDS Drive Controllers series. Within multi-axis automation platforms, it supplies regulated power to servo amplifiers so motion axes can follow commanded trajectories with stable torque and speed. The unit serves as the power and control stage for coordinated motion, allowing higher-level control systems to manage acceleration, velocity, and positioning across connected axes. By regulating drive output in real time, it supports stable axis behavior during starts, stops, and speed changes.
This controller exchanges real-time motion data over the SERCOS fiber-optic bus, enabling deterministic coordination with higher-level PLCs. Its power stage can deliver a continuous output of 75 A, which is the maximum motor phase current the drive can regulate without derating. Thermal management is handled by a built-in air blower that moves cabinet air across the heat sinks, so the unit does not require external ducting. The housing has an IP 10 protection rating, and normal operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from +5 to +45 °C. The product is part of Line 03 and Version 1.
At ambient temperatures up to +55 °C, the controller can remain in service with reduced output current to limit thermal stress on internal components. It can be stored in temperatures from −30 to +85 °C when not in operation, which supports transport and warehouse storage. Installation is approved up to 1000 m above sea level, where the cooling system can still remove heat effectively. As part of the DIAX04 controller family, the drive fits mechanically and electrically with matching power supplies, motor feedback cards, and interface modules used in the same platform. Matching modules can be used within the same system architecture for integrated multi-axis operation.
