Product Description:
The HDS03.1-W075N-HA42-01-FW drive controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the HDS Drive Controllers series. It is installed in DIAX04 modular racks where it regulates servo axes used throughout industrial automation. The device receives reference values from upstream control systems, processes them through internal control loops, and delivers controlled current to connected motors so that conveyor sections, tooling heads, or gantry modules follow commanded motion profiles. This arrangement allows the controller to serve as the power stage between the rack supply and the connected motor while the higher-level control manages axis commands.
The unit exchanges setpoints through an analog command interface, so ±10 V or 4–20 mA signals can be routed directly from a PLC card without additional fieldbus hardware. Because the command input is analog, the controller can be integrated into systems that use conventional control outputs. A continuous output capability of 75 A is the maximum phase current the power section can supply, which suits medium-power servo motors. Protective construction is limited to IP10, so the unit must be mounted inside a closed control cabinet. Thermal energy is removed by a built-in air blower, and the drive is intended for ambient conditions from +5 to +45 °C. The blower moves air across the heat sink to support stable operation inside the cabinet.
Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level. At higher elevations, the drive requires load derating, and the maximum ambient temperature under those conditions is +55 °C. When the machine is idle or in transit, the electronics tolerate a storage range of -30 to +85 °C. The storage range helps protect the electronics during transportation or warehouse storage before installation. Windings and internal wiring use Class C insulation, which allows higher internal hot-spot temperatures than lower insulation classes. The unit is part of Line 03 and Version 1.
