The HDS03.1-W075N-HA10-01-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HDS Drive Controllers series. As a member of the DIAX04 motion platform, it regulates current loops and axis commands for servo motors in machine tools, handling equipment, and general factory automation. By converting reference inputs into controlled output phases, the unit serves as the power-processing stage between the supply module and the motor. Its analog command structure suits systems that send speed or torque references directly from upstream controls. In typical use, it works with external supply modules and motors to manage torque production, speed regulation, and responsive motion on automated axes.
This controller accepts command signals through an analog interface, so velocity or torque references from a PLC are delivered as standard voltage levels. A continuous output capability of 75 A supports medium-power servo axes without external amplification. Thermal energy is removed by a built-in air blower, allowing cabinet installation without separate ducting. The housing has an IP 10 protection rating under DIN 40 050, which indicates ventilated construction with protection against accidental contact. Rated operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from +5 to +45 °C.
For storage or shipment, the permissible temperature range extends from -30 to +85 °C, which helps protect the unit during transport and warehouse handling. The insulation system uses Class C according to DIN VDE 0110, supporting elevated internal temperatures in the power section. If the surrounding air rises above the nominal operating range, reduced loading is allowed up to +55 °C. These operating conditions are important when the controller is installed in enclosed cabinets where internal temperatures can rise during sustained load. The product is part of Line 03 and Version 1.
