Product Description:
The HDS03.1-W075N-HA08-01-FW is an HDS drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the HDS Drive Controllers series. Within the DIAX04 controller family, this module functions as a power and motion interface between a supply unit and servo axes in industrial automation cells. As an HDS drive controller, it uses regulated DC-bus power and accepts reference signals to manage speed or torque loops for machinery such as gantries, material-handling stations, and packaging machines. In a DIAX04 system, it works with a separate supply section and delivers controlled motor current to the connected axis during operation.
The unit exchanges setpoint data through an analog command interface, allowing simple integration with PLC cards that generate ±10 V velocity or current references. This arrangement lets the controller respond directly to external speed or current commands in conventional motion systems. The unit is part of Line 03 and Version 1 in the series. A continuous output capability of 75 A equips the controller for medium-power servomotors without external booster modules. Thermal loads are removed by a built-in air blower, so cabinet airflow design can remain uncomplicated. The housing has an IP10 rating, and reliable function is maintained across a permissible ambient range of +5 to +45 °C. Because the enclosure is not sealed against dust or water, the controller is intended for installation inside a protected electrical cabinet.
When enclosure temperatures exceed the nominal window, derating begins at +55 °C, which helps protect semiconductor junctions from overheating. During storage or shipment, the electronics remain stable from -30 to +85 °C. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level, so full current is available in most plant elevations without additional cooling. Windings and internal wiring use insulation class C, which provides high thermal endurance for the internal electrical system. The insulation system supports the thermal demands created by current flow inside the drive module.
