The HDS03.1-W075N-HA04-01-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HDS Drive Controllers series. It belongs to the DIAX04 controller family and serves as the axis control element between a motion-control PLC and attached servo power stages. By translating reference values into regulated motor currents, the unit delivers coordinated position, speed, and torque response required in automated machine tools, material-handling gantries, and packaging lines. This arrangement lets the controller manage axis behavior in real time while the connected power section supplies the motor with the commanded current.
The command channel uses an analog interface, so setpoints arrive as ±10 V signals that the controller's internal processor samples for closed-loop execution. A continuous output capability of 75 A accommodates medium-power axes without external amplification. Thermal energy is removed by a built-in air blower, and the fan moves cabinet air across the heat sink so no auxiliary cooling circuit is needed. The enclosure has a rating of IP10, which means the unit must be installed inside a cabinet that provides the remaining protection against accidental contact and contamination. Normal operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from +5 to +45 °C, which suits typical indoor industrial conditions. The unit is part of Line 03 and is Version 1.
Altitude tolerance reaches 1000 m above sea level, and above this height derating for reduced air density applies. When forced ventilation or load reduction is used, the controller can operate at ambient temperatures up to +55 °C without exceeding thermal limits. For storage and transport, it withstands temperatures from -30 to +85 °C, which helps prevent damage during handling in unconditioned spaces. Windings, bus bars, and insulating spacers meet C as per DIN VDE 0110, supporting the high internal DC-link voltages used in DIAX04 multi-axis racks. That insulation class supports electrical separation inside the controller during normal use.
