The HDS02.2-W040N-HS78-01-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HDS Drive Controllers series. Installed in a multi-axis rack, it converts DC-bus energy into regulated three-phase output for precise speed and torque control in machinery such as machining centers, printing lines, and material-handling cells. It links directly with higher-level motion processors to support dynamic positioning tasks within automated production sequences. By regulating motor current inside the rack, it helps servo and spindle axes respond predictably during acceleration, deceleration, and holding phases. It is suited for systems where several axes share a common power structure and must follow synchronized commands from a CNC or PLC.
Command signals arrive through the SERCOS optical ring, allowing real-time exchange of setpoints, diagnostics, and parameters.
