The HDS02.2-W040N-HS66-01-FW is a modular drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HDS Drive Controllers series. Assigned to the DIAX04 multi-axis platform, it fits into a common power-supply backplane and regulates a single servo axis within a larger motion system. By translating digital setpoints into controlled armature currents, the unit supports synchronized speed, torque, and position control in automated assembly lines and material-handling equipment. This layout lets the controller work as one axis in a coordinated machine without requiring a separate standalone enclosure for each motor channel.

Command data reach the controller through the SERCOS fiber-optic ring, allowing deterministic cyclic updates from higher-level controls.
