The HDS02.2-W040N-HS60-01-FW drive controller is one of the latest productions of Rexroth Indramat; it is designed to operate over a large range of industrial motion controlling applications. The drive controller is characterized by its rapid response and high flexibility. It can be used to control the speed, acceleration, and position of permanent magnet motors, specifically the MHB, 2AD AC MKD, and 1MB servo motor series. The HDS02.2-W040N-HS60-01-FW sends electrical current the mains to the servo motor through the power cable; the drive controller also connects to the motor through a motor feedback cable, which helps it exchange digital information with the drive controller. Electrostatic charges can damage the drive controller; thus, objects coming in contact with the drive must be properly discharged through the means of grounding.
