Above that range, output current must be reduced, with derating required up to a ceiling of +55 °C. When ambient temperature rises above the normal operating band, current reduction helps protect internal insulation and power devices from excessive heat. Equipment may be staged or warehoused between -30 to +85 °C without condensation, which supports storage and transport before installation.
