The HDS01.1-K075-R is a modular drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HDS Drive Controllers series. As a drive controller, it supplies regulated power and command signals to servo drives used in machining centers, printing lines, and assembly equipment. Its function is to match commanded torque and speed values with the electrical output required by connected motor modules, allowing coordinated multi-axis motion in automated cells during continuous duty. In systems with several synchronized axes, it supports stable motor response while the higher-level control issues changing motion commands.
The controller is rated for a continuous output of 75 A, so the associated supply and motor cables must be sized for that current. Operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from +5 to +45 °C; outside this range, the internal electronics may drift outside calibrated tolerances. In cabinets with limited ventilation, performance is derated above +55 °C to protect the power transistors. The housing carries an IP10 rating, which protects against contact with live parts but does not provide water sealing. Proper airflow must also be maintained up to an elevation of 1000 m above sea level because reduced air density lowers cooling efficiency.
In applications that require higher dielectric strength, the internal wiring conforms to Class C insulation in accordance with DIN VDE 0110, which supports safe electrical separation inside the unit. During storage and transport, the controller can remain between -30 to +85 °C without damage to internal components when it is not in operation. The product is built in Version 1, which identifies the revision used for this unit. These operating limits and insulation characteristics allow the controller to be installed with other compatible modules in the same drive system.
