The HDS01.1-K025-D is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the HDS Drive Controllers series. Designed for cabinet installation, the unit supplies regulated power and command signals to servo axes, forming the link between a higher-level motion processor and the connected motor. Within automated packaging, printing, or material-handling cells, the controller adjusts torque and velocity in real time to keep positioning accuracy within process tolerances. This arrangement lets the upstream control issue motion commands while the drive handles the fast current and speed response required at the axis.
The controller is intended for indoor operation where the ambient air stays within +5 to +45 °C, which allows full continuous current without derating. Outside this range but up to +55 °C, the hardware can still operate, although output must be reduced to limit thermal loading. A housing rating of IP 10 per DIN 40 050 shields the electronics against accidental contact with fingers or solid objects larger than 50 mm, but it is not sealed against water. Stable operation is permitted at installation sites up to 1000 m above sea level, where lower air density has little effect on heat dissipation. During storage or transportation, the module tolerates temperatures from -30 to +85 °C, so it can be kept in unconditioned facilities without damage to capacitors or circuit boards.
