The HDC01.1-A200N-SE01-01-FW is a drive controller module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HDC DuraDrive Controllers series. Installed in a multi-axis cabinet, it conditions three-phase input power, builds a shared DC bus, and communicates motion commands to inverter sections over the SERCOS network. In an automation line, the unit supplies regulated energy, bleeds surplus regenerative power, and coordinates soft-start charging so that connected servo amplifiers can run safely and predictably. This arrangement supports stable operation when several axes accelerate, decelerate, and exchange energy on the same power platform.

The controller delivers a nominal DC link capacity of 15.0 kW at 400 V, giving downstream drives a stable energy pool for simultaneous acceleration events. A bank capacitance of 4.7 mF stores this energy and smooths voltage ripple during load swings. For short bursts, the bleeder stage handles a peak of 115 kW and absorbs up to 60 kWs of total energy, preventing DC bus overrun when large inertial loads decelerate abruptly. The power section has a type current of 200 A, allowing high-torque starts without brownouts. The unit has a mass of 40 kg, which is important for mounting support and handling during installation. Control integration is through the SERCOS fiber loop, so axis parameters and diagnostics share a deterministic channel with motion commands. Auxiliary supplies include 25 W for electronics and 45 W for the cooling fan, which supports thermal stability during continuous duty.
