Product Description:
The HDC01.1-A200N-PL02-01-FW is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat drive controller from the HDC DuraDrive Controllers series. It regulates the DC bus and bleeder circuitry for high-power servo axes and exchanges operating data through its RS232/RS485 port with higher-level PLCs. Within an automation cabinet, this unit supplies controlled DC energy to connected inverters so that motors can accelerate and decelerate without disturbing the line supply. It is intended for cabinet-mounted servo systems that use a shared power section for multiple axes.
The controller delivers a rated line current of 200 A and can divert regenerated energy through a continuous bleeder rated at 1.5 kW; short duty peaks reach 115 kW to protect the DC bus during heavy braking. Energy is stored on internal electrolytic capacitors totaling 4.7 mF, and surplus energy can be absorbed up to 60 kWs before thermal limits are reached. If the intermediate circuit rises above the allowable margin, a control stage limits the value to 40 V above nominal, helping prevent component stress. This arrangement allows braking energy to be handled inside the unit during normal deceleration cycles.
The housing has a protection rating of IP20 and is approved for installation heights up to 2000 m. Operation is permitted in environments with relative humidity up to 95 % and absolute humidity not exceeding 25 g/m³, provided condensation is avoided, and the contamination degree is Class 2. The 40 kg enclosure adds thermal mass, and dimensions of 727.5 mm × 165 mm × 315 mm (H × W × D) must be considered for cabinet layout. The stated size also affects clearance around adjacent modules and cable routing paths. The RS232/RS485 interface supports parameter transfer and fault diagnostics without additional adapters. During rapid deceleration of heavy axes, cabinet airflow helps keep internal temperature within the allowed range.
