Product Description:
The HDC01.1-A200N-IB01-01-FW is a drive controller in the HDC DuraDrive Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is designed to manage the DC bus of connected servo inverters and to interface with higher-level motion systems through an Interbus fieldbus link. By regulating energy flow and switching patterns, the unit coordinates motor torque and speed commands in automated production cells and material-handling lines. The controller is intended for cabinet-based drive systems where multiple axes must share stable bus power and predictable command exchange.
At the power section, the controller supports a type current of 200 A, while its continuous output at the standard 4 kHz switching stage is limited to 100 A. The DC-bus power rating is 15.0 kW at 400 V and 18.0 kW at 480 V, and a 4.7 mF bus capacitor helps stabilize the intermediate-circuit voltage during load surges. The device can pulse the IGBTs at 4 or 8 kHz, and it can modulate motor frequency up to 400 Hz. A 6 Ω Zks discharge resistor works with the internal bleeder to absorb regenerated energy, while 27 W of control electronics power keeps the logic and gate drivers active. Fieldbus wiring is connected through a 9-pin D-sub Interbus connector on the front panel.
Energy overflow is routed to the braking circuit, where the continuous bleeder handles 1.5 kW of thermal load and can momentarily dissipate up to 115 kW during rapid deceleration peaks. The assembly is rated for 60 kWs of cumulative energy absorption and accepts a maximum charging current of 7.0 A when its bus capacitors refill after mains recovery. It has an enclosure protection of IP20 and a mass of 40 kg. Because of this enclosure style, the unit is intended for installation inside a ventilated control cabinet rather than on an exposed machine surface. It should be kept away from conductive dust and direct liquid exposure so the internal power and control sections remain protected during operation.
