These drive converters are used to operate IndraDyn motors and third-party motors like rotary and linear asynchronous motors and synchronous motors. They have a wide area of applications, including general automation, assembly, handling, machine tools, food and packaging machines, printing machines, and the semiconductor industry.

Thanks to its Multi-Ethernet control communication, the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW supports bus systems like SERCOS III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCat. It also supports multiple standard encoders with its multi-encoder interface. These encoders include the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the MS2N motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The required supply voltages for these encoder systems are 5V and 12V. It is equipped with an intelligent operating panel with a programming module function and supports information exchange without a PC. The operating panel has a single-line display that shows real-time operating states and pending warnings.

The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW has a three-phase mains connection voltage requirement of AC 200 to 500 V with an allowance of ±10%. This converter has a compact design and is designed to be mounted into control cabinets. It has a protection rating of IP 20, indicating that it does not admit solid extrinsic objects with a diameter of 12mm or more. The HCS drive converter should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C. It should be mounted at a maximum height of 1000m with relative air humidity between 5% and 95%.
