The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an IndraDrive axis supply, it converts three-phase AC line power into regulated output for synchronous and induction motors used in packaging, material handling, and machining cells. The unit belongs to the compact HCS01 line, which supports space-saving cabinet layouts while combining the control section and power stage in one housing. It is intended for applications that need closed-loop speed and torque regulation without a separate axis electronics package.

In operation, communication with higher-level PLCs is handled through a MultiEthernet port that supports several real-time fieldbus protocols without additional hardware. The control section in this model is the BASIC variant, which provides standard motion functions and parameter storage for common axis tasks. When short-term load peaks occur, the converter can deliver a device peak current of 54 A, and it remains compatible with supplies from 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10%. The unit has an IP20 enclosure, so it must be installed inside a suitable electrical cabinet. This open housing is intended for protected panel installation rather than direct exposure to dust or washdown conditions. The controller does not include an integrated safety interface, so STO must be handled by external safety hardware.

Thermal management uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which removes heat without requiring ducted cabinet airflow. Both feedback sockets accept Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 signals, supporting single-cable motor wiring and automatic electronic nameplate reading. DC-link energy exchange uses an infeeding and fed supply concept, allowing the HCS01 unit to act as either a rectifier or a consumer within a multi-axis system. This arrangement supports shared energy flow between compatible axes on the same drive network. The unit is Version 1.
