The Bosch Rexroth HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW is a digital AC drive. It is designed for high-performance industrial applications that require accurate motor control. The drive is designed to deliver 18 Amps peak current output. Drive operation with rated output requires ambient temperature below 40 degrees Celsius and site elevation below 1000 meters. Bosch has designed the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW drive for forced air cooling. Cool air taken in via an inlet is forced across heated drive components and released inside the cabinet. The recommended minimum spacing on the top and bottom side of the mounted controller is 90 millimeters. The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW controller only supports connection to three-phase AC systems. It is based on a basic control section. A standard control panel is supplied with the controller and allows easy programming and monitoring. The control panel does not support hot-plug: it must be connected to the controller before the latter is switched on. The control panel features a digital LCD display and a 4-button keypad. The control panel has 650 kilobytes memory for the MLD boot program and 492 bytes memory for the MLD retain variables. Communication interface on the HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW controller is MultiEthernet. A multi-encoder interface enables controller use with several types of motor encoders. An optional hardware module with an engineering port is installed on the controller. A slot for a safety module is available and can accommodate one of several available safety modules.
