The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-PB-NN-NN-FW is a compact converter from Rexroth Bosch. The unit is compatible with encoder systems with supply voltages of 5 and 12 volts. It can be used with MSM, MS2N, MSK, 1Vpp sin-cos, HIPERFACE, 1Vpp sin-cos, EnDat 2.1, EnDat 2.2, 5V TTL square wave, 1Vpp sin-cos, SSI, and combined encoders. This unit only has the capacity to support resolvers when the safety technology Safe Motion is not in use.

This driver controller is designed specifically to be used only with parts and accessories as specified by Rexroth Bosch. It is not advised to mount or connect any component that has not been specified in the accompanying documentation onto the compact controller. The same is applicable for all lines and cables that are attached to the driver controller. The same applies to software and firmware – only the indicated types and versions should be used with the device.

Before using this compact drive controller from Rexroth Bosch, it must be first programmed before it can be commissioned. Doing this ensures that the motor will be able to execute the specific functions of the application that it will be used in conjunction with.
