The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a compact HCS drive converter for ADVANCED control units. It is suitable for several standard encoders, including the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the SSI encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1. These encoders have supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V and are connected to the multi-encoder interface of the HCS model. It also has a standard control panel with a single-line display and four operating keys. Operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings can be viewed on this user panel, which also serves as its programming module.

A sercos III master module is present in the HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW for cross-communication. The drive converter’s safety technology module is Safe Torque Off (STO), a cost-effective option for preventing the drive from starting unintentionally. Its operation must be done with a three-phase AC mains connecting voltage between 110V and 230V and a maximum current of 9A. It also permits switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, or 16kHz. According to the EN 60529 standard, the HCS model has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20 as it does not admit solid external materials over 12mm.
