The Bosch HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NW is a HCS series drive controller. Its product series is 1, and the design designation is 1. The HCS series from Bosch cools via forced-air cooling: the cool air is taken in via an inlet on the bottom side of the controller, and a cooling fan forces the air over the heated controller components. The outlet for the heated air is at the top side. The permitted ambient temperature for HCS controllers is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Bosch allows use of HCS controllers with output derating at ambient temperatures from 40 to 55 degrees Celsius.
