The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-L3-NN-FW is an AC drive controller from Bosch. Its input is designed for AC systems that supply voltages ranging from 200 to 500 Volts AC. The drive is capable of delivering maximum 8 Amps output. Typical applications include handling and mounting systems, food and packaging machines, and machine tools. The controller is designed for vertical mounting. Its front side measures 215 x 50 millimeters. There is a risk of personal injury and property damage due to incorrect project planning for installation, machines and applications. Therefore only trained personnel with experience of installing and operating AC drives should handle and install the AC drive. Personnel that in any way, shape or form use Bosch products must first read and understand the relevant safety instructions and be familiar with their intended use. No changes should be made to the controller hardware and software. A damaged or faulty controller must not be installed.
Controller installation must be performed as described in the product documentation. The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-L3-NN-FW controller dissipates heated air inside the cabinet. The maximum ambient air temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Operators can use large cabinets to ensure appropriate inter-device spacing. Air conditioning can be used if large cabinets are not available. The resistors located near the controller backside get extremely hot during operation. Appropriate precautions should be taken to prevent damage to heat-sensitive devices installed near the controller. The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-L3-NN-FW is equipped with a multi-encoder interface, and multiple communication interfaces including Multi-Ethernet and CANopen. The safety module installed on the controller supports safe torque off (STO). The HCS01.1E-W0008-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-L3-NN-FW works with a standard control panel. The controller firmware needs to be ordered as a separate subposition.
