The Bosch HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller. It is designed for 200 to 500 Volts AC mains connection voltage. The controller requires an isolating transformer with grounded neutral point. The controller only works with three-phase input. HCS controllers work with compatible Bosch motors. Today, machine axes are mainly moved with electric drives. Motors of standard design are used in most cases, as this is the most cost-efficient solution. Due to special requirements at machine axes, constructional or safety-related aspects, it may be necessary for the machine manufacturer to use a motor construction that diverges from the standard. For such cases, there is the demand on drive suppliers to realize drives with motors that are not included in their own product ranges due to the special design. For drive controllers from the IndraDrive range, it is possible to use third-party motors.

For this purpose, operators need to check whether the third-party motor complies with the requirements of use. The HCS controllers can control the following types of motors: rotary asynchronous motors, linear asynchronous motors, rotary synchronous motors, and linear synchronous motors. These motors can be operated within the scope of the technical data of the selected IndraDrive Cs controller. If motors have been provided with a holding brake, it should be controlled via the drive controller. Operators must ensure that the relevant technical data of the motor holding brake comply with those of the holding brake output. The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW delivers maximum 5 Amps output. It supports a multi-encoder interface, Master-Ethernet communication, and safety features including safe brake control and safe torque off. The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is supplied with a standard control panel. The compact controller enclosure is IP20 rated.
