The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. This compact HCS01 power section manages the transfer of energy between a three-phase supply and IndraDyn servo axes. It supports torque and speed regulation in factory automation lines. In compact automation cabinets, it serves as the axis-side control element between incoming power and servo motion functions.

It accepts a supply of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V ±10% and can deliver a peak output current of 5 A to connected motor modules. The controller has an IP20 rating, so it is intended for installation inside a cabinet rather than in an exposed machine location. For networked motion, it offers a MultiEthernet interface that supports several real-time Ethernet protocols without extra hardware, allowing the drive to exchange command and status data with higher-level controllers. Functional safety is integrated through dual-channel STO and SBC circuitry, allowing torque-free shutdown and brake engagement from external safety relays. This combination suits light-duty axes such as pick-and-place actuators or small conveyors.

Thermal management uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external cooling ducts are required. The control section is the BASIC variant and corresponds to design version 1. Position feedback is handled through the primary encoder port, which supports IndraDyn Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2 for compatible motor feedback devices. The power supply concept allows both infeeding and DC-bus-fed operation, which supports use in standalone layouts as well as shared bus systems. A second encoder port is left vacant, and the control section communicates with the power section through the HCS01 backplane during operation.
