The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-E-S3-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW is a digital drive controller. It is part of the HCS product line from Bosch Rexroth. The controller is used in industrial applications that require motor control. Integrate features on the controller include a multi-encoder interface, an engineering port, and a SERCOS/EtherCat communication interface. The controller features a standard control panel. The standard control panel has a single-line display and must have been plugged in when the drive controller is switched on so that it can be  recognized (not suited for hot plug). The standard control panel can be used as programming module. The display on the control panel shows operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. The housing of the HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-E-S3-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW is IP20 rated. The controller is an air-cooled device that dissipates heat inside the control cabinet. Therefore large cabinets are required for controller mounting. Operators need to order the firmware separately from the hardware.
