The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth incorporates monitoring functions to avoid malfunction. This controller needs to be protected against unintended startup by isolating its power connection using appropriate OFF switches or buttons. The product needs up to 15 minutes of cooling time after it has been switched OFF. The device must have a clearance distance of at least 90mm at the top and bottom inside the control cabinet. The unit features a 40°C maximum ambient operating distance. Its mounting and handling require the use of lifting tools and equipment correctly. This product can control third-party rotary as well as linear asynchronous and synchronous motors.

The device has 8W power dissipation at a continuous current. The unit mounting must be done only vertically. The drive controller will likely get damaged if its control cabinet is operated with a fan but not the corresponding filters. The controller houses a multi-encoder interface. The product mounting can be done such that its rear is mounted directly onto its control cabinet. The device connection with the motor must be established using short motor cables. The unit has an autotransformer connection in its main supply. Its firmware with a control panel must be procured as a separate subitem. 

The drive controller can be connected in parallel with other controllers by installing a fuse before each of them. The product comprises a Bb relay contact that must be wired. The device has no DC bus coupling option through the X77 connecting point. The unit is CE Certified and cULus Listed. It is fitted with a type plate that highlights its type designation. The controller must at no point of time have moisture condensation or icing on its surface. The product requires operation for at least an hour if it is used after storage for a long time.
