Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It acts as the interface between plant power and an IndraDyn servo or asynchronous motor, regulating torque and speed for automated machinery. The unit is intended for panel-mounted installation alongside other HCS01 line components. This layout supports coordinated axis control in packaging systems, material-handling equipment, and other general motion applications.
Its communication layer is built around MultiEthernet, enabling native EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT connectivity to PLCs. This allows the same controller platform to connect to several common industrial networks without an external gateway. The power stage accepts 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10% input and can deliver up to 3 A of peak current during short acceleration periods. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit is intended for installation inside an electrical cabinet. Thermal management uses internal blower cooling, with an integrated fan moving air across the electronics so no external ducting is required. Safe Torque Off and Safe Brake Control channels are available to remove drive energy and release the mechanical brake when the safety circuit is triggered.
This controller is supplied with the BASIC control section for use with the HCS01 hardware platform. Motion feedback is processed through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 input, while the second interface slot remains empty. The internal power handling follows an infeeding/fed arrangement that supports DC-bus energy exchange between connected axes. Functional safety is provided through the dual-channel STO and SBC interface, which operates independently of the main processor. Separating the safety path from normal control functions helps the drive shut off torque when required while leaving the basic network and feedback architecture unchanged.
