Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, the HCS04.2E-W0420 is an HCS series converter that features a 420 A maximum current and an air internal cooling mode through the integrated blower. The blower is supplied by a three-phase current.

It also features a factory assigned power supply. A mains voltage of 3 AC 380 to 480V and IP 20 protection category. Coming with a compact design, the HCS04.2E-W0420 is ideal for single axis application which is further made possible by mains connection.

The Bosch Rexroth HCS04.2E-W0420 also has the ability to handle overload capacity of 1.2 to 1.65x making it an ideal converter for numerous applications such as automation, plastic processing machines and textile machines among others.

Not to mention its ability to be used together with all IndraDrive control units. The HCS04.2E-W0420 is also compatible with HLL DC Chokes that facilitate the achievement of higher continuous power in the DC bus. Thanks to their ability to reduce harmonics in the line and prevent circuit feedback, they are ideal when using HCS04.2E-W0420 in residential areas.

Equally important is the ability of this HCS series compact converter to control and monitor HLT brake choppers. The brake chopper works together with an external braking resistor to significantly increase the braking power.
