The HCS03.1E-W0150-A-05-NNNV is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As a regenerative power unit, it manages bidirectional energy flow between an AC mains supply and the shared DC bus so motion axes can accelerate, brake, and hold position under closed-loop command in industrial automation cells.
It operates from a three-phase input of 3 x AC 400…500 V +10%, −15%, allowing installation on low-voltage plant power without an isolation transformer. Within this range the controller furnishes a continuous power envelope of 15 to 75 kW, and can respond to short transients with a device peak current of 150 A. The internal converter is arranged as an Infeeding / Feeded topology so surplus braking energy can be returned to the grid or shared across other drives on the DC link. Protection against accidental contact and falling debris inside a closed cabinet is provided by an IP20 housing that is suitable for mounting in conditioned electrical enclosures.
Thermal management relies on air, internal (through integrated blower), so no external heat exchanger piping is required and airflow is directed across the heatsink by a built-in fan.
