The HCS03.1E-W0100-A-05-LNNV is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and included in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Serving as the regulated power interface for multi-axis machinery, it converts incoming three-phase energy into a stabilized DC bus and then modulates that bus for servo or induction motors. In typical automation cells, this controller governs positioning, velocity, and coordinated motion, linking motion commands from the PLC to the electrical requirements of the connected drives. Because the DC bus is regulated inside the controller, connected axes can receive consistent power during changing load conditions and synchronized machine cycles.

Designed to operate from three-phase utility grids, the controller accepts mains voltages of 400–500 V AC with a tolerance of +10%/-15%, so it remains operational when the plant supply drifts within that window. Its power stage can deliver up to 100 A of device peak current, giving short bursts of torque for motor acceleration or transient load events. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, eliminating the need for external heat sinks. The enclosure carries an IP20 rating, so it is finger-safe but must be installed inside a cabinet for protection from dust and water. Within that cabinet, the hardware covers a continuous power range of 15–75 kW, allowing one frame size to serve different machine capacities without changing the basic mounting format.

As part of the HCS03 line, this controller ships in Design Version 1. The shared DC bus can operate as an infeeding and fed power supply unit, allowing regenerative energy from one axis to be redistributed to another axis or returned to the mains. This arrangement supports common-bus operation during acceleration and deceleration cycles across linked machine sections. Parameter ranges are keyed to voltage code 05, which matches the electrical class used by this controller.
