Bosch Rexroth’s Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is composed of a wide range of highly functional drive and motion control units. These include servo motors, drive controllers, converters, and other accessories. The HCS converters are compact units with extensive Ethernet-based communication interfaces. Hence, they are suitable for industry-specific applications. The most common applications of these converters are machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, and paper processing machines.
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-FW is a compact converter in the IndraDrive C product range by Bosch Rexroth. It is cooled by forced ventilation and requires a three-phase AC supply voltage between 200V and 500V. According to EN 60529, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 20, indicating that it will not admit solid extrinsic objects with a diameter of 12mm or less. Its compatible control unit is a BASIC UNIVERSAL control section with Multi-Ethernet; hence, it supports multiple communication interfaces. These include sercos III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT. With the standard encoder interface, it is compatible with encoder systems with a supply voltage of 5 and 12 V.
