Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-NN-PW is a single-axis HCS Drive Controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It combines a regulated power stage with onboard logic so that motors can be started, stopped, and monitored from the same housing. In automated cells, this controller manages torque, speed, and position loops while exchanging diagnostic data with higher-level PLCs over its real-time network links.
Electrical energy is accepted from 3 × AC 200–500 V ±10%, and this wide mains span lets one hardware type serve both 230 V and 480 V plant zones. The power stage can supply up to 54 A of peak current, allowing short acceleration bursts without saturation. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet air remains the cooling medium and no external heat sink is required. All field communication is handled through a MultiEthernet interface that supports several Ethernet-based protocols without extra option cards. The enclosure is rated IP20, indicating finger-safe electrical parts but requiring installation inside a protected control cabinet. Interface 2 is left unequipped, and the unit is identified as design version 1 of the HCS01 line.
The controller uses a BASIC control section matched to the power stage. Position feedback is processed through an encoder port for IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2. Integrated functional safety is provided by STO and SBC, letting the axis meet Category 3 stop requirements without external relays. Power can be shared along a DC bus because the converter supports infeeding and fed operation, which reduces the need for dedicated supply modules. The line designation HCS01, the absence of additional design features, and unequipped auxiliary interfaces keep the configuration straightforward while still covering common motion tasks.
