Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is used in industrial automation cells to convert three-phase mains power into controlled voltage and frequency outputs for synchronous or induction servomotors. As the power stage of an IndraDrive stack, it works with a separate control section to carry out positioning, velocity, and torque functions in packaging, material handling, and machine-tool equipment.
It draws power from a mains supply of 3 x AC 200...500 V, which supports operation on both 230 V and 460 V factory grids. The inverter can deliver up to 54 A of peak current to the motor phases, making it suitable for small to medium axis requirements. Network integration is handled through MultiEthernet, allowing SERCOS III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT communication through parameter settings. The IP20 enclosure rating provides protection against accidental contact, so cabinet mounting is required. The drive uses internal blower cooling, so the fan draws air through the heat sink without external ducting. For functional safety, the drive includes STO, which shuts off torque-producing pulses when a monitored circuit is opened.
The hardware platform is design version 1 and uses a BASIC control board for general-purpose axis applications. Feedback signals from linear or rotary sensors are accepted through Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, allowing a single connector to handle absolute position data without extra interface cards. The module supports Infeeding / Feeded operation, so it can supply energy to or receive energy from the DC bus within a multi-axis rack. Interface 2 is not populated, which leaves the drive with a single feedback interface and a simpler connection layout.
