Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW is an AC drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As a compact drive unit, it coordinates torque, speed, and position loops for synchronous or induction motors in modular automation cells such as packaging lines and pick-and-place axes. The controller integrates its power stage and control electronics in one enclosure, allowing machine builders to add motion control without a separate external drive. It fits into the HCS01 line size and is used where single-axis regulation up to medium power is required.
The communication backplane supports MultiEthernet, allowing the device to switch among Sercos III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and TCP/IP without hardware changes. Its power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10%, allowing use on low- or high-voltage plant mains with a single variant. During acceleration, the inverter can deliver a device peak current of 54 A, allowing high short-term torque from the paired motor. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it must be mounted inside a protective cabinet but remains accessible for front wiring. Feedback data arrive over the primary encoder port, which supports IndraDyn, Hiperface, or EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoders for high-resolution position control.
The power module is paired with a BASIC control section, which provides standard motion functions without integrated safety I/O. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is necessary and cabinet temperature rise remains predictable. The DC link can operate in an infeeding or feeding topology, so the unit can either supply or absorb regenerative energy according to machine duty. The unit is Version 1. The safety interface is unequipped, so risk-reduction functions must be handled by upstream controls.
