The HCS01 drive converter series belongs to Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Cs multi-protocol drive system. These drive converters have a broad spectrum of Ethernet-based communications interfaces. They also function with conventional communications like the PROFIBUS network. Also, they are compatible with the most common encoder types increasing their functionality. Their areas of application include general automation, assembly, handling, machine tools, food and packaging machines, printing machines, and the semiconductor industry.
Designed for BASIC UNIVERSAL control units, the master communication of the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-L3-NN-NW is via a Multi-Ethernet protocol. This protocol supports bus systems, including SERCOS III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT. The drive converter also has a multi-encoder interface, allowing users to select application-specific encoders. Compatible encoder types have a supply voltage of 5V and 12V. They include the MSM, MS2N, and MSK motor encoders, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 or Hiperface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.
