The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS01 line in the IndraDrive Controllers series. Acting as the central power and logic module in multi-axis automation, the unit supplies regulated DC power to servo drives and manages torque, speed, and position loops within the IndraDrive architecture. By integrating motion control and power electronics into a single housing, this controller streamlines cabinet layouts and supports high-precision machinery ranging from packaging lines to metal-cutting systems. This controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200…500 V ±10% and communicates through a MultiEthernet port that supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT traffic across a single network interface. Internally, an integrated blower provides air cooling, so no external ducting is required. The control section uses the BASIC design and is listed as design version 1. Under transient load, the device can deliver a peak output current of 54 A, and the enclosure has an IP20 rating for installation inside a protected cabinet.
For axis feedback, both drive encoder sockets support the combined IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 format, allowing direct connection of high-resolution sine-cosine encoders used for precise motor position data. The integrated safety channel provides STO (Safe Torque Off), which disables the power stage without external contactors when torque production must be removed. DC link energy is exchanged through the common bus because the power section supports infeeding and fed operation, so it can act either as a supply or as a consumer in regenerative groups. The unit is supplied without application firmware, and firmware must be ordered as a separate subposition.
