The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It regulates servo or induction motors inside automated machines and connects those axes to centralized control, allowing coordinated speed, torque, and position loops across a plant network. No safety interface is populated in this unit, so any STO or SIL functions must be provided externally.

Electrically, the controller can deliver a peak output of 54 A, so drive sizing must account for this current limit during acceleration or regenerative operation. Its input accepts 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10%, permitting use on a wide range of three-phase supplies without transformer adaptation. Fieldbus connectivity is handled through a MultiEthernet port, enabling EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT selection in the same hardware. The control section is the BASIC version, which provides standard motion functions while leaving out optional advanced safety hardware. With an enclosure rating of IP20, the controller requires installation inside a switch cabinet to prevent dust or liquid ingress.

Thermal management is accomplished by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet airflow must remain unobstructed. Motor feedback wiring is routed to a multifunction encoder socket with IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder support, allowing high-resolution position data from a broad range of transducers.
