Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The device serves as the power and control stage for a single axis, supplying regulated DC-link energy and closed-loop torque commands to connected motors in industrial automation. It is intended for panel installation where space savings, simple wiring, and straightforward setup are important, allowing one enclosure to combine power conversion, safety, and communication functions.
The controller’s communication port supports MultiEthernet, permitting real-time exchange over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT without additional option cards. The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10%, so the same model can be used across common global voltage systems. During rapid acceleration or braking, the power stage can deliver up to 54 A of peak current, giving the axis added headroom for dynamic loads. Thermal energy is removed by air cooling with an integrated blower, which avoids the need for external ducting and helps maintain stable temperatures inside the cabinet. The housing is rated IP20, allowing installation inside a protected panel while providing finger-safe protection for energized components.
A functional safety input provides STO (Safe Torque Off), which disables drive power quickly for category 0 stop functions. The integrated power supply stage supports infeeding and DC-bus-fed operation, so the unit can return regenerative energy to a common DC bus or draw power from it during multi-axis operation. Two identical feedback channels support IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 feedback, enabling high-resolution position control and allowing compatible motor feedback systems to be connected through the available interfaces. The hardware is identified as design version BASIC.
