The Bosch HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is an IndraDrive drive controller. The IndraDrive product line includes drive controllers and compatible motors. Salient features of IndraDrive controllers include compact construction, IP20 protection rating, a control panel with programming features, scalable signal processing, an analog input, 8 digital inputs, Hall sensor adapter box for MCL motors, and two options for buffering data of MSM encoder. The controllers are equipped with a multi-encoder interface that is compatible with a wide range of encoders including SSI, Hiperface, EnDat 2.2, EnDat 2.1, MSM encoder, BiSS and sin/cos. The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW controller features Multi-Ethernet communication, and a digital/analog I/O extension module. The slot on the controller for safety modules is vacant. The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW controller is compatible with a standard control panel that does not support hot-plug. The controller firmware is ordered separately.

There is a high risk of damage due to high temperatures, as the braking resistors at the back-side of the controller can become very hot. Therefore, when arranging the devices in the control cabinet, operators must make sure there no heat-sensitive materials close to the braking resistors. Only trained personnel should handle the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW controller and associated equipment.
